This report shows your total inventory of licenses and services, how they are assigned within the organization. By using our report you will get full view of where the costs are allocated. This helps you get control of costs and to get an organized and up to date AzureAD.
Cloud Economics Insights
The overview page presents a rolling 12-month trend and key performance indicators (KPIs) for cost and usage. Navigate to subcategories for detailed information.
When you explore a subcategory, you’ll likely encounter multiple pages specific to that category. Use the navigation buttons on the left side of the report to drill down into your data.
In the lower-left corner, you’ll find the ‘Back to Overview’ button. Click it to return to the main overview of the report.
Regardless of where you are in the report, utilize the filters at the top. They allow you to analyze specific subsets of data.
Getting started!
Exobe have centralized ETL pipeline to collect and process your data. There is an additional license required to run this report. Contact us with the forms at the bottom of this page to get in touch with business representee to schedule a demo and onboarding.
We will help you to setup the necessary service principal in your tenant to collect data. If you want to do it by yourself follow the instructions below.
Setting up service principal
Go to the Azure portal and create a new app registration.
Modify the permissions of the app registration to include the following application permissions. Remember to grant admin consent.
Create a client secret. The value field is a read once value. Make sure to save the value securely.
Provide the Application (client) ID, Directory (tenant) ID and client secret value to your Exobe contact in a secure matter.
Report first run
After you add the PowerBI app from the marketplace, it will only contain demo data. Click "Connect your data" on the first page of the report.
Exobe will provide you with necessary database credentials when your tenant have been onboarded successfully.
